Recommended RV Air Conditioner For A 2008 Rockwood 282XRT Popup Camper
Question:
do etrailer have a thin roof top unit to replace my old ac on 2008 Rockwood 282xrt popup. Some of your product state duct, build in distributor and up to 6inch roof tops. But nothing as thin 1inch to 2inch thick roof tops. Like some slider too.

Out of the RV air conditioners we carry the Advent Air units have the smallest roof thickness requirement at 2-1/2" - 5" thick. In the attached installation video you can see how David increased the thickness of the roof to be able to install a new unit.
If you want to completely replace your system (rooftop unit & air distribution box) then I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu # ACM135C.
If you want to replace just the rooftop unit then you can use the follow units that come with adapter cables to plug right into your current distribution box:
For Coleman replacement # ACCOL135.
For Dometic replacement # ACDOM135.
For Carrier Air replacement # ACCAR135.
