Replacement Tuner For 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 With 5.7 HEMI
Question:
Bought superchips tuner for my 04 ram 1500 5.7 hemi slt and it worked the first day but now it cant communicate with the trucks computer. Superchips doesnt know and just say to send it back but I can no longer send it back. It can red codes and info but cant load for tune. Ive tried unplugging radio putting charger on truck battery Ive done all they recommended and what Ive read online is there anywhere I can just get an original file for the tuner so I can just erase the stuff on this tuner and load the orignal ones on? When I look st the device info it has four ????inch For the DB VERinch so Im not sure if that is a missing file or what. Could really use a fix as its been a waste of 300+ dust collector

There isn't any where to get an original file for the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner - Dodge/Ram # SU3845 to erase what is on it an load original ones, you would indeed need to send it to Superchips. The best we can offer is a different tuner that is new that we know will work with your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7 HEMI, the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner - Dodge/Ram # EP36040.
The # EP36040 can add 17.8 HP and 26.3 lb-ft of torque, has pre-set tunes and is internet updateable; I know it's not the exact news you were looking for, but a replacement is the only option available.
