Finding Wiring Connectors for Trailer Wiring that Fits 2017 Ford Explorer

Question:
I ordered the 118272 wiring harness for my 2017 Explorer. This harness is designed to disconnect a factor plug and as a splitter. When I went to install, my vehicle just had one female plug hanging down. What wiring harness do I need?

Expert Reply:
If your 2017 Ford Explorer has one of the connectors for the # 118272 you have the other as well and it would be just a matter of looking further for it.
I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2017 Ford Explorer for you to check out that shows you where you'll be able to find it.
