Can the lc89v be greased?

The Lippert Power Stance Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way Plug # LC89VR does not require to be greased by the operator. The owners manual and installation instructions give no reference to greasing the jack.
I would not recommend putting grease on the jack as the grease will capture dirt that will cause the jack to run slower and have issues.
