Does Edge Insight Programmer Have Ability to Show Engine Oil Pressure
Question:
Hi, I just installed the edge insight cts3 on my 2004 f350 crew cab lariat 6.0, and Im not seeing a pid for oil pressure. I have an oil pressue dummy gauge on the dash that sits right at the middle all the time. I assume that the stock senor is reading a minimum value and giving the ok, rather than actively monitoring the pressure as it changes. Am I correct in this assumption? Is there another way to give real time data to my cts3? Thanks for your help!

The Edge Insight CS2 # EP84030 that you referenced can be programmed to display the engine oil pressure or engine oil temperature on your Ford F-350 by going through a few steps.
Looking at the gauge layout screen, press the ENTER button and you will see a gauge location highlighted. Then use the arrows to highlight the particular gauge location you need to modify. Highlight and select NEW PID option, then press enter.
From here use the up/down arrows to highlight a new PID (you might need to scroll a bit or go to the next page to find the EOP and EOT). Doing this should show the new PIDs with any other options you may have changed already. If you don't see EOP/engine oil pressure let me know and I'll check with Edge but in general there isn't a way to add PIDs to a vehicle's PCM as what's there is what's available.
