Can You Open Panoramic Sunroof On 2020 Kia Sorento With A Roof Rack Installed

We have a 2020 Kia Sorento EX v6, with flush rails that go front to back and a pamoramic sunroof. Do you have options that would allow for the sunroof to still be opened while the roof racks are attached?

It is not recommend to open the panoramic sunroof on your 2020 Kia Sorento with a roof rack installed to avoid any interference with the roof rack and the panoramic sunroof. It may be possible for you to open the sunroof without causing any interference, but the only way to know for sure would be to slowly open the sunroof with the roof rack installed, having somebody check for any contact.

With a roof rack installed you will more than likely not want to open the sunroof anyways, as the crossbars will cause additional wind noise that will be very loud with the sunroof open.

For your 2020 Kia Sorento with flush mounted rails that run front to back I recommend the Thule Roof Rack System which uses 47" Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711200, Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710601, and Fit Kit # TH186033.
