Question:
Hello. I have read that my JGC with the towing package is rated to 6,200 lbs but cannot find the maximum tongue rating. What can you share with me? Thank you!

I was able to locate the owners manual of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and based off the specs you've mentioned, your maximum tongue weight is 620-lbs, which is fairly standard since the tongue weight of a trailer should be roughly 10-15% of the total GVWR of the trailer. As long as you stay under 620-lbs with the tongue weight, you'll be just fine.
If you don't have a tongue weight scale for your trailer, the etrailer # e99044 is a great choice that will allow you to safely monitor how much weight you're putting on your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee's tongue.
