How to Connect 100 lb Tank to Dual Tank RV Propane Setup
Updated 10/19/2020 | Published 10/16/2020 >
Question:
How do I add the same fitting on the 100 lb tank that will connect like my 20 lb tank does? I have a portable dual fuel generator, and and the hose is too short to reach the 100 lb tank - and the hose has the connector for the 20 lb tank, so I assume I have to convert to the right fitting on the 100 lb tank and get an extension hose to be able to connect the 100 lb tank to the generator.

To add a 100 lb tank to your two tanks, I recommend the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose - Type 1 Valve - Quick Disconnect, Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103615. This will allow you to connect the red fitting to one of your tanks and the pigtail from that tank to the brass side of the T-fitting. Then you will use the POL side of the 6 foot hose to connect to your 100 lb tank and the quick connect end to the T-fitting.
