Will Trimming Bumper Fascia On 2019 Honda Odyssey For Draw-Tite Hitch Lead To Rust

Hi. Planning to buy the hitch for 2019 odyssey. I saw in your video that there is a need to cut a piece of the bumper. My concern is that, will that cut piece make the body of the odyssey susceptible to rust? We lots of salt in novascotia lol

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76170 which is a great option for a 2019 Honda Odyssey only requires trimming of the plastic bumper fascia so there should not be any concerns with rust of the bumper itself or the parts behind. I also checked the reviews for you and there were no mentions of rust after the bumper was trimmed accordingly.
