We do have a great solution but we do not have custom fit towing mirrors for your 2002 Ford Explorer XLT.
The universal fit towing mirrors I recommend for your Explorer are the K-Source Unviersal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On # KS3990. These universal fit mirrors fit most mirrors 4-1/2 inches to 11-1/2 inches tall. Clips on the mirror arms grab the edge of your factory mirror housing in the space between the mirror and the housing. The snug fit helps reduce mirror vibration and the dual mirrors help give you an expanded view of the road and your trailer. We've found these fit vehicles as well as the custom fit options and give an excellent view behind the vehicle when towing.
