Troubleshooting Bulldog Electric Landing Gear Working for Short Time and Clicking Sound
Question:
I have dual electric trailer jacks that come up just fine but when i lower then it will run about 15 secs than quit and i have to wait for a click in order to start again and it doesnt last but about 5 seconds...this process keeps repeating until its all the way up...any suggestions ??

The clicking that you're hearing when operating your tandem Bulldog landing gear, like part # BD500162, sounds like it's a circuit breaker with the auto-reset function. So what's happening is that you're circuit breaker is reading excessive power so it shuts off and then once it resets you're able to operate the jacks again until the circuit is overloaded.
To fix this you'll need to check your wiring connections, including your ground. Make sure everything is secure and there aren't any loose connections. Also look at your ground and be sure it's securely connected to a clean, bare-metal area.
