What is the difference between 1 gauge and 2 gauge.? Which one is the best ?

The difference between 1 gauge and 2 gauge wiring is going to be the amount of current that can pass through it. 1 gauge wiring, like the wires used in the Bulldog Winch Booster Cable Set - Clamp to Clamp - 1 Gauge - 30' Long # BDW20333 is going to provide you with a bit more current going through the cables than a 2 gauge wire- so it's really all down to your application. When it's available, I recommend using booster cables with 0 or 1 gauge wiring so that you're not losing any power capacity.
