Does Fresh Water Cap Need to be Replaced if There is a Leak

Question:
Hi Jon, I believe I solve the problem. As it turns out the overflow hose which is located directly near the fill cap seem to have some caulking or some kind of a buildup in it that was preventing any air from escaping. Once I cleared those holes I was able to fill the tank completely and after driving around today on multiple hills and rapid accelerations no leak was observed. The tank was still completely full when I return to my campsite.

It's possible that you might need a new inlet cap like part # A0120SBKVP, but it is worth noting that I believe you're filling your fresh water tank a little too much. Unless you are parking on a pretty aggressive grade or you have your tank full to overflowing there shouldn't be a leak at the cap.
When filling your fresh water you really only want to fill up the tank (without willing up the line). You want to stop filling if you have an indicator that lets you know when the tank is full. Too much water can leak out or create a siphon effect and cause problems with your water flow.
