Recommended Replacement Jack with Wheels for Atwood A-Frame Jack 80274

Question:

I need to replace the Atwood 80274 A-frame on my Chalet Arrowhead trailer because the wheel at the bottom looks like it will fall off next time I push the trailer to position it in my garage. There are a few constraints that I can think of: 1. The sleeve underneath the bolted connection only accommodates a 1-3/4 inch inner steel tube and the the Atwood 80274 has a 1-3/4 inch inner tube. 2. The new jack needs to bolt on rather than weld on 3. The new jack needs to accommodate a wheel at the bottom so I can push the trailer to position it once its in the garage. 4. My Chalet Arrowhead has a GVWR of 3000#, so just about any jack would be strong enough. 5. I prefer a manual crank but would put up with an electric if needed. I see that you sell several jacks with a 1 3/4 inch inner tube: Items # DL22530, UF38-944037, UF38-944016, UF38-944017, JET-2500. What would you recommend so I can push the trailer once the wheels are in the garage? Thanks

Thank you for being so detailed with your question, it was really helpful and we do have a jack that meets all of your needs. To replace your Atwood A-Frame 80274 I recommend the Dutton-Lainson A-Frame Trailer Jack # DL22530 that you mentioned, because of its quality and the fact it meets all of your criteria. You only need to add Removable Wheel # DL22414.

Like you mentioned, this jack has a 1-3/4 inch inner tube, bolts on, can use the aforementioned wheel, has a 1,000 lb capacity which is more than enough for your trailer's 3,000 lb GVWR, and is a manual sidewind crank. The electric jacks you mentioned all use a foot as opposed to a wheel so they wouldn't be able to accommodate moving your trailer.

I've added links to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well.
