The installation of a trailer wiring harness on a 2020 Honda Pilot is very simple. The exact process will vary depending on which option you go with. I have installed a few trailer wiring harnesses on a Honda Pilot and found the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118760 for a 4-way or part # 118286 for a 7-way are the best. The process entails removing a few interior panels, making a connection to the factory wiring harness, and then routing the trailer connector to a destination of your choosing. I have attached install videos on both of the above options. The reason I feel the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harnesses are best is because it is easier to secure the converter boxer which is crucial to the longevity of the harness.
The best part of all is that you don't need any special tools to install either trailer wiring harness and they are both plug-in-play options with no splicing involved so you can do this yourself, at home.
