harley 2012 trike 5 wire escapade trailor 6wire how do you connect

I did some research and found that the Escapade trailers use a square 6-Way like # 37995 that you have referenced. From what I could find, the Harley trikes use a round 5-Way. No matter what is on the bike you will need to change one connector or the other.
If it is easier to change the trailer side, you will just need to use a trailer side 5-Way that matches the bike 5-Way. If it is round, we have # PK11501. You will need to remove the plug on the trailer and attach the wires from it to the back of this plug. One wire will be left over which I believe is for a 12 volt circuit which powers a light inside the trailer. In this set up, it will not be functional.
If you want to change the bike side trailer connector and retain all of the functions, you will need to remove the wires from the existing harness on the bike and wire them to the vehicle side 6-Way in # 37995. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 if needed to verify the functions of the wires on the bike trailer connector ahead of time.
On the 6-Way harness white is ground, green is right turn, yellow is left turn, red is brake lights, brown is running lights, and blue would need to be attached to an accessory 12 volt circuit somewhere on the bike. Or, you would need to run it first to a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540, mounted on the trailer frame and then from the breaker to the positive battery terminal.
