Question:

I am interested in the size of the oven. The actual measurements in inches and is the rack removable to accomodate larger pans.

I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven # FSRE17SABL referenced in your question. I measured the overall inside dimensions of the oven to be 17 inches wide, 9 inches high, and 14 inches deep. From the top of the black rack to the top of the inside opening there is a height of 5 inches.

The silver metal grate can be removed from the oven but the black rack is fixed to the unit and cannot be removed.

I read from many experienced rvers to use a pizza stone to control the heat of the oven and not burn food. If the black shelf doesn't move (is fixed) and a pizza stone be used in this oven?

The pizza stone trick is the real deal. You could indeed place the stone on that black shelf to help absorb heat and create a more even cooking surface for whatever you've got on the rack.
