I'd recommend verifying in the owners manual of your 2016 GMC Savana 2500 with a 4.8 liter engine but from what I could find it looks like you have a towing capacity of 8,100 lbs. Since towing with a van can be difficult to see behind you the towing mirrors I recommend a set of towing mirrors like the K-Source part # KS3891-2 which would work great on your van.
