To carry 4 kayaks you would need to go with the Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack Kayak Carrier # RRS520 which allows you to stack 2 on either side of it (see attached picture). This option has a 165 lb weight capacity.
There are 2 concerns when it comes to carrying these on your 2016 Ford Escape; room and weight capacity. You may have limited room for all 4 kayaks so the Rhino-Rack option may be your best choice, but even then if the weight capacity of your roof or roof rack is lower than the capacity of your carrier you will be limited by that instead. If you have lighter kayaks then you might be able to carry all 4.
If weight capacity is an issue then it would be best to use a trailer like the MalonEcoLight Trailer # MAL53FR which has a 400 lb weight capacity. Let me know if this is the route you need to take and I can help you get the equipment needed for your Ford Escape.
