Longest Roof Rack Bars That Fit a 2015 Subaru Impreza Hatchback
Question:
what is the maximum length in inches of cross rails I can put on my 2015 5 door hatch Subaru Impreza? I do not want to go beyond the outside of my review mirrors.

Since you are wanting to use crossbars that may be longer than what is recommended from the manufacturer I would go with a Yakima system. Their JetStream Crossbars have a track system on the bottom that allow them to be more versatile than many other roof racks from competitors.
If your 2015 Subaru Impreza Hatchback has a naked roof then you need the SkyLine Towers # Y53TR and Landing Pad 11 # Y00233. For raised rails you simply need the TimberLine Towers # Y00147. In addition to the crossbars I also recommend using the Yakima Same Key System # Y07204 to secure your roof rack.
The following JetStream Crossbars can be used with either system, but we do not recommend going wider than your side mirrors as you mentioned. Simply do some measuring to see which size you can safely install.
Black
50" - # Y00425
60" - # Y00426
70" - # Y00427
Please note that you will want to check your owner's manual for any instructions regarding a roof rack for your Impreza.
