The maximum towing capacity of your 2007 Ford F-150 will vary depending on cab, wheel size, drive type, engine size, and rear axle ratio. Therefore, the only true way to tell what your trucks towing capacity is would be to find both the Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) and the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). These figures can be located on the information tag inside the drivers door jamb. If you subtract the GVW from the GCWR, that will give you the maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) you can safely tow.
If you will be near the maximum towing capacity of your vehicle then I recommend adding a set of suspension enhancements to help minimize the stress that will be placed on the vehicles suspension from the weight of the trailer. For this, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR1502D is a confirmed fit and will work well for you. The springs will also help to distribute the weight of the trailer across the entire vehicle which will result in better braking power.
I have attached a review video on the above springs for you as well.
