To upgrade the axle and hubs on your Northern Hardware Trailer, I recommend looking at an Axle-Less System like the Timbren # A20RS545. This suspension system will provide you with a smooth, quiet, and safe ride and can completely eliminate the need for an axle. It is designed to fit any frame width and features straight, EZ Lube spindles for easy bearing lubrication.
This particular system is rated for 2,000 pounds and includes idler hubs with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. They will be compatible with any wheel that matches this bolt pattern, including 15 inch units like the impressive Hi-Spec Series S5 # AM22323HWTB.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can check out. I have also attached a link that will take you to our available selection of 15 inch wheel and tire combos with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern for you to look through. You can filter through the different tire sizes by using the facets on the left side of the page.
