Can the Multi-Displacement System MDS Be Deleted From a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7l

Question:
Truck has a after cat exhust and a cold air intake. I bought it with the exhaust system. Its been over 3 years and I always thought there was something wrong with the tranny. The sound it makes when I now know is the MDS kicking in REALLY not like the truck. From what I was told was that my truck didnt have MDS but I recently found out it does because all 2006 and newer Ram 1500 trucks come with it and my Vin has the number 2 in the place where It confirms it is MDS. If you can let me know what tuner superchip or what would turn it off It would be much appreciated. I recently learned that putting it in tow mode turns it off but still have to hear the MDS when it remindstarts me because I forgot to put it in tow mode. The truck only gets 8 miles to a gallon but could get better if the mds was off. When it would kick in I would just floor board it because of the irate ting sound.Other then that it has 150k on it and runs great. My commute to work is only a mile so the fuel cost is bearable but the MDS.I even paid the dealer a 130 bucks for them to tell me that they couldnt turn it off but their hour of researching it should of been something they already know. Thanks for the help in advance.

In order to disable the factory multi-displacement system (MDS) on the 5.7l Hemi engine in your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 you will want to use the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner part # EP86040. This tuner is both California CARB compliant and will increase horsepower and torque up to 18 HP and 26 TQ respectively.
