Difference Between L1450 and L1430 Outlet Connectors
Updated 08/28/2017 | Published 08/25/2017 >
Question:
The description of the cam55382 states it has a 4-prong L1450 male connector. I have a 5kw Troy-built generator with a 4-prong L1430 locking female receptacle at the 120/240 AC amp output. What is the difference between the L1450 plug and the L1430 receptacle, and will the cam55382 adaptor work in this application to power my rv?

I attached a picture that shows the difference between the L1430 and the L1450 connector styles. If you do indeed have a 4-prong connector what you have is the L1430 and not the L1450.
Because of that the part # CAM55382 WILL WORK for you as it matches the connector style you have. I apologize for any confusion.
