Recommend Trunk Mount Bike Rack for Carrying an Electra Townie on a 2010 Toyota Prius

I do have a trunk mount bike rack option available for your 2010 Toyota Prius, however, the Hollywood Racks Gordo part # HRG2 is not a confirmed fit. For a bike rack that is a confirmed fit and will work well with your Electra Townie, I recommend using the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH45JV.

The OutWay is my number one choice for trunk bike racks. It is the easiest to install because it uses only 2 rubbeer-coated straps instead of the 4-6 straps of other carriers. It comes with locks for both the rack and the bikes to deter theft, and they use the same key. It also has adjustable arms to fit more bikes, easily.

The alternative frame on your Townie would be nearly impossible to use on a frame mount carrier without an adapter bar, I recommend the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # HRBA-PRO.

Hi, will the Hollywood G2 hold 2 Eletra Townies? It says 35lb weight for each bike.

If your Electra Townies weigh 35 pounds each the Hollywood Racks HRG2 will be up to the task. It features a 35 pound per-bike capacity. Since a lot of the Townies have a step-thru frame, you might need to add an Adapter Bar like # UB01 to create a horizontal attachment point.
