Troubleshooting 1979 Chevrolet Truck with Low Beam Headlights Not Working But High Beams Work

Question:
I have a 79- Chevy truck. Low beam do not work. But they work on high. Please help. I bought two light switch and a dimmer switch.

My guess is you have a blown fuse. Do the tail lights work? A lot of times tail lights and headlights will be on the same fuse and they might not work but the high beams and brake lights will. It also could be the bulb since bulbs that have a high and low function do have two filaments and the low is out. This is less likely if it's both headlights.
