Question:
I want to connect a 20# propane tank to my rv. All the tees I see appear to require that the 20# tank be continuously attached if not what would prevent the tee from draining the on-board rv tank ?

To add a propane tank to your RV, I recommend the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks, # CAM59005. This will allow you to use the extra tank first and then draw from you RV's tank. This will switch automatically so you don't end up with a 1/2 cold shower because your extra tank ran out. It does have a guage that will let you know when the tanks are running low so you can swap them out manually. If you want to ensure you don't drain one tank, simply keep that tank shut off and the propane will be drawn from the other tank.
