Question:
I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT 4WD 4.7 Liter V8 with a 545RFE transmission. I am having problems with the transmission overheating. Can you recommend a transmission cooler for this vehicle that will fit and what other parts or adapters I may need? Thanks.

The best way to pick out a transmission cooler for a vehicle is to base it off of what would be the largest one that would fit in front of the radiator. The part # D13504 is a larger cooler that would work well for you as long as you have the room for it. It measures 11" Wide x 12" tall x 7/8" deep.
The fitting you would want is the part # D13030 that is designed to fit your truck and would allow you to install the cooler without having to cut or flare any lines.
