Fitting Two Yakima JayLow Kayak Carriers and Roof Mounted Fly Rod Carrier on Roof of 2007 Saturn Vue

Question:

I have a 2007 Saturn vue with rail grab tower with 66inch bars. I carry two kayaks but now I would like to carry both kayaks and a Titan fly rod vault Can I install two jay low kayak carriers one on driver side one on passenger side with the fly vault in between Will this travel ok on the highway and behind my motor home. Is there a better way or other options that would be better

Each of the Yakima # Y04073 JayLow kayak carriers would take up about 18 inches of space on the crossbar. Since the fly rod carrier you referenced is about 11 inches wide, you should have more than enough room on your Yakima 66 inch round roof rack crossbars. According to Yakima, your roof rack has a 100 lb capacity, so you'll want to make sure the weight of the kayaks, the approximate 20 lb weight of both JayLow carriers and the fly rod vault and its contents don't exceed the 100 lb roof rack capacity.
