Which Axle Do Tire Chains Install On a 2008 Toyota Highlander

I recently purchased tire chains for 2008 highlander sport. Do I mount it on the front or rear tires? Thank You

Your 2008 Toyota Highlander would be front wheel drive so you would want to install the tire chains on the front wheels.

For maximum braking and turning traction you would want to have chains on all 4 wheels, but if only using one set the front axle would be the correct route.

You will want to check the owners manual of you vehicle to determine if there are any tire chain restrictions for your vehicle.
