The Thule Apex Swing is one of my favorite bike racks we offer and one that recommend often. I love that this rack allows full rear cargo access to the rear of the vehicle with bikes loaded on the rack. Most racks will have a tilt feature that will allow you to access the rear of the vehicle, but before you can tilt the rack the bikes must be removed from the rack. That is an inconvenience that is totally avoided with the Apex Swing part # TH9027.

However, some people have found that the anti-rattle device of the rack is bit challenging to get all of the play out between the rack and the hitch.

That is why I tend to recommend the Thule Vertex Bike Rack part # TH9031XT more since it uses the older style anti-rattle hitch bolt that works very well. To upgrade it to a locking hitch pin all you would need is the part # THSTL2 and then for a cable lock part # TH538XT.

This would be what I would recommend for your 2015 Acura MDX as long as it has a 2 inch hitch installed on it like the part # 75225.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
