SportRack Roof Rack Fit for a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
will these crossbars fit my2008 jetta 4 dr car. also will they work with a Thule snowboard carrier that holds or locks down 4 snowboards to crossbars. I purchased the carrier in 2011. thule instructions show square crossbars needed. thanks

The SportRack Semi-Custom roof rack, # SR1010, is listed as a fit for a 2008 VW Jetta.
According to my Thule Rep, the SportRack bars are about 1/8 of an inch wider than the Thule square bars. Since your snowboard carrier is of a recent generation, my Thule representative tells me that it should fit just fine on the SportRack crossbars.
