Illuminate Your Path: Submersible LED Tail Lights

For those who frequently encounter wet conditions, like on a boat trailer, the waterproof construction of the Combination LED Trailer Tail Light is a game-changer. This innovative design ensures that the light remains fully functional even after being submerged. The sealed circuit board prevents water damage, ensuring longevity and reliability, whether you're hitting the road or launching into water.

Built to Last: Durable Construction and Shock Resistance

Say goodbye to the frequent replacements of traditional incandescent bulbs. This trailer tail light features durable surface-mount technology that withstands shock and vibration, which is perfect for trailers that hit rough terrains or endure intense travel conditions. The molded plastic housing and acrylic lens offer tough protection, further enhancing the longevity of the light system.

Energy-Efficient Brilliance: 14 Bright Diodes

If you’re looking for lighting that’s not just bright but energy-efficient too, these LED lights are your answer. Equipped with 14 diodes, they provide excellent brightness with significantly less power draw, lasting up to 50 times longer than traditional bulbs. This increased efficiency means you won’t have to worry about power issues on extended trips.

Enhanced Safety Features: Multi-Functionality for Visibility

This driver's side LED tail light hosts a plethora of functions such as stop, turn, tail, and reflex reflectors. It also incorporates side marker lights and a license plate light feature, ensuring maximum visibility and safety on the road. It’s a multi-functional powerhouse built into a single unit, making your night driving experience safe and sound.

Perfect Fit, Every Time: Square Design with Convenient Mounting

Mounting your trailer lights should be hassle-free, and with a square design specification of 5-1/16" x 4-9/16" and distance between mounting studs of 2 inches center to center, installation is a breeze. • Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light - Can Incandescent Bulbs Be Replaced With LED Bulbs?
Hello Gregg; yes, the incandescent bulbs in the Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light # 432400 can be swapped out for LED bulbs. This light uses an 1157 bulb for the tail light and an 1156 bulb for the turn signal. Here is what I recommend for bulbs: - 1157 LED Bulbs - 360 Degree - Double Contact Bayonet - 600 Lumens - White - Qty 2 # ARC93FR - 1141/1156 LED Bulb - Single Contact Bayonet - 360 Degree - 210 Lumens - Cool White - Qty 2 # DI85VR While replacing the bulbs is possible,...

  • Recommended Replacement Trailer Lights With Side Lights For Small Utility Trailer
We have just what you are looking for. I recommend the LED Submersible Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, part # STL8RB. This is for the right side of the trailer and is a stud mounted LED light. It has the side marker light that illuminates when the running lights are powered. For the left side of the trailer you will want part # STL9RB. I have attached a product review video and have also attached a drawing that shows the dimension for these lights you can take a look at.

  • Can a Passenger Side Tail Light Be Used on the Driver Side of a Trailer
Left side tail lights have a clear lens on the bottom to light up the license plate. Right hand side tail lights do not. If you were to use the right hand side light, # STL8RB, you would need a separate light to illuminate the license plate. The left hand side light that matches is # STL9RB. If you click on the last picture on the product page, you will see the lens.

Hey Jeff. The Light Guard item # LG440NP is sold individually. It's just the single steel mounting bracket that can be orientated for either driver or passenger side. The Peterson Square Trailer Tail Lights item # 432200 and item # 432400 are designed to fit it and are sold individually. • Why are Some Lights Listed as Over 80 Inches and Others Under 80 Inches
The reason there are trailer light kits listed for under 80 inches and over 80 inches is that there are different lighting regulations for vehicles that have widths that are larger than 80 inches in width than ones that are less than 80 inches wide. You will need to check with your local laws and regulations on trailer lighting also. Check out the LED Submersible Right Hand Light # STL8RB and the LED Submersible Left Hand Light # STL9RB. • Submersible Right Hand LED Trailer Tail Light Recommendation
If you want a submersible tail light I would recommend the LED Submersible Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, 6-Function, 11 Diode, Right Hand, part # STL8RB. The # STL28RB you referenced is not submersible, and I would not recommend it if you need a submersible tail light. You may also be interested in the LED Submersible Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and License Plate Light, 7-Function, 14 Diode, Left Hand, part # STL9RB, if you needed the left hand version of the # STL8RB.

  • Troubleshooting Left Side Running Light Problem on a Boat Trailer after Installing a New Tail Light
It sounds as if you either have a weak ground at the first light on the left side of the trailer that is not working or you have a broken or pinched wire on the left side after the light that is working. You have effectively eliminated the vehicle and trailer connectors by observing the fact that the first running light inline on the left side of the trailer is functioning properly and that all of the other trailer lighting is working. Start, by making sure the lights that are not working...

Over or under 80 means 80 inches of width. There are certain lighting requirements if the trailer is more than 80 inches wide. Trailers that are less than 80 inches wide can still use lights that are indicated as over 80 inch. Since you need a 5-way wiring harness I recommend getting the lights separately, # STL8RB and # STL9RB, and then getting # A25W5B for the harness. This is a 5-Way wishbone harness. • Troubleshooting Trailer Lights not Working with 2009 Honda Pilot
This is an issue we run in to quite commonly when installing Combination LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL9RB or any other trailer light. The good news it has nothing to do with the vehicle 99% of the time. The most common cause for this is bad grounding at your lights or at the wiring harness ground. When this came into the shop my first step would be to remove sand down to good steel and replace each ground. That will likely solve your issue. The very dim light coming through is an indication...

  • 14 Diode Taillights Flashing Oddly
Hi Steve, Strange is a very good word for it; that's a completely bizarre scenario I've never heard of happening. The only thing I can think of is a bad ground that is causing some sort of power fluctuation within the light, hence the issue with them being fine with just the running lights on, but flashers make them act up. So I'd really make sure the ground is good, and also the wires leading to them aren't damaged somehow, which can also cause funky voltage issues.
