This is a multifunction stop, turn, and tail light. This versatile light serves seven functions: stop, turn, tail, rear reflex, side marker, side reflex, and license plate illuminator. The main red light measures 4-9/16" square x 2-7/8" deep; the attached red marker light makes the total length 5-17/64". The molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a screw-down, replaceable lens and easy-to-replace bulbs. The light socket is shockproof, guaranteeing long bulb life. The light is a universal mount with two studs on 2" centers. The quick connect wiring model provides a quick, watertight connection to the electrical harness on the trailer. The light is grounded through the mounting studs.

Today were going to review part number ST9RB, this is the Optronics Trailer Stop Turn Tail and license plate light. This is a 7-function light for the left-hand side of the trailer. This is a multifunction stop turn taillight and this red square taillight will serve 7 functions for trailers that are less than 80 inches. Itll serve the functions stop, turn, tail, rear clearance, rear reflex, side marker, side reflex and license plate light. The molded plastic housing and durable lens will provide all weather protection against corrosion. The light features are screw-down replaceable lens and an easy to replace incandescent bulb.

The bulb size on the inside will be 1157. The light socket is shockproof guaranteeing long bulb life and this light is a universal mount which will mount with the two studs on the back of the lights and those studs are two inches apart on center. This light does use the quick connect wiring which you will simply insert the strip wire into the holes and itll lock in place. To release it you just push a paper clip in a hole right next to it and thatll pull that out. This light is grounded through the mounting studs so when this is mounted on the trailer you do need to make sure the studs are mounted to the trailer securely so itll give you a good ground.A few dimensions on this light, the overall length from the edge to the side marker will be 5 17/64.

The depth on this light will be 2 7/8 inches and on the lens itself will be 4 9/16 by 4 9/16. And now what Im going to do is I have a power supply here and I hook up the strip wires I have and basically I will put in the brown wire and it says on the back tail are brown so we push in that. And if I use the white and ground it to the stud, itll give you the light; thatll be your taillight. If I take the green wire, push that into the one that says, taillights and then ground it. Or push that into the one that says stop and turn and I grounded it and thatll give you the brightness of the stop and turn light and then what Im going to do is turn off the overhead lights to give you an idea of what the light will look like in the dark.

That will be your taillight and when we hit the stop and turn; that will be the brightness of the stop and turn. And thatll do it for part number ST9RB.

The Optronics Trailer Light, # ST9RB is a stud mount light that is grounded through the mounting studs. The lights on your trailer are using a separate ground wire. How To Connect Optronics Trailer Lights # ST8RB and # ST9RB To a Trailer
The quick connect feature on the Optronics Light, part # ST8RB, and part # ST9RB, means that you can connect the wires by inserting them into the four holes on the back of the light.
