Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2019 Mazda CX5 I'm gonna walk through how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades. If you're looking for new windshield wiper blades for your vehicle, I think the ClearPlus Intelli Curve are gonna be a great option. For a couple reasons. One, where our hinges are they're gonna have a rubber cover over them so that's gonna help the hinges hold up a lot longer, they're not gonna stick, you're not gonna have runs on your windshield when you're trying to clear water, ice, or snow off. It's gonna have a rigid center and a soft outer edge where the hinges are and what that does, it allows it to, not only create more downward pressure in the middle, but it allows the outside of the blades to contour to the glass shape.
These are gonna be graphite coated to help reduce any risk of chattering as your windshield wiper is going if you hit some dry glass. If we come back up here to the cover here you'll notice it kind of has a wing on it. And what this does is it allows the wind to kind of bounce off and go over the windshield, instead of on it which is gonna help reduce how much ice and snow build up you have. These are gonna come in a set of one. The reason is, is because the driver and passenger side are two different sizes.
Driver's side is gonna be twenty four inches long, passenger side is gonna be eighteen inches long. Just wanna check our fit guide and make sure you pick up the correct sizes. They are gonna come with all the hardware. So it's gonna come with all the brackets to fit the arm that you have on your vehicle. Now, there are a lot of different types of wiper blades out there.
And as I mentioned before, I think ClearPlus is gonna be a great option. It's better than going to an auto parts store, spending 40 or $50 on wiper blades that aren't gonna last you a couple months. ClearPlus is the way to go. I've had them on my vehicle. They seem to last quite a while before I had to replace them.
Now that we've gone over some of the features on these let's show you how to get 'them installed To start your installation it's a good idea to have a piece of cardboard, piece of foam underneath the wiper blade that you're working with to create a buffer between the metal arm and the glass. Because if you happen to drop this, hit this glass, it will shatter it. We're gonna push this button right here in the center and we're gonna slide out our old blade. We're gonna take the longer of the two blades for our new ones we're gonna flip this little plastic piece over and we're gonna push down. We're gonna pop that off and pull it out. We're gonna take this one here. We're gonna make sure that the raised side is up towards the roof. We're gonna make sure you install this the correct way. Which I just didn't. And we're gonna take it like this and slide it into place. Once you get one side done, you're gonna repeat the process for the other side and you're ready to go. That's gonna do it for a look at and installation on the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades on a 2019 Mazda CX5..

Do not buy these for a Tesla model 3. They will fit the arms but as soon as you turn them on they will bang into the front trunk because they are too thick to tuck under the hood at the end of each wiper stroke. It will chip the paint and make a loud clunking sound and you will regret ever buying them. I reached out to the manufacturer about this and never got a reply. Total trash.
This is a great business to deal with. Number one in customer service and wonderful communication. I highly recommend anyone that needs the produces they carry to use them over any others. Even if the cost is slightly more from here, which I doubt because etrailer is very competitive in their prices, it’s worth the extra to use etrailer. Peace of mind knowing you’ll get great care if the need arrives.

I am very please with this product. It arrived before time and super easy to mount on my car. Lately when it rained, I used the wipers and for the first time, I am very satisfied with the results. They work much better than the ones I bought from the shop.

I want to say the product was a very good product, but unfortunately I had to replace all wipers before the year was up. I wish they would have lasted longer, but they didnt. Over all, when new, they worked really well. My mechanic showed me how they dried up and needed to be replaced. Thank you so much,

They started out fine like any new wiper should but within 6 months the driver side started skreetching under light rain conditions. Irritated. Rubber Must have dried out. Was expecting to last a year. It didn't happen. Went back to bosche blade.

They clean well and are not noisey.
Great wipers! I bought them years ago out of necessity when I was on the road and had a wiper break during a rainstorm. The truck stop I was close to sold only these Clearplus wipers. After using them I could never go back to another wiper. I always buy them here at etrailer now.
Dependable performance, especially in winter last year in Utah - snowiest in 40 years.

Love these wipers. Found them at a gas station when a wiper broke in the middle of a rain storm. Had previously had great difficulty finding a wiper that performed well on my wife’s 3 series BMW. When those wipers wore out and I returned to purchase another set, the gas station no longer carried them. I was so happy to find them on etrailer.com. And at a very reasonable price for purchase and shipping. Great wipers from a great vendor!
I've had these wiper blades for a year now and they still work really well. Of course the mild winter we had here in Pa. probably contributed to that. Still though I am very pleased with them. They haven't worn down much at all to this point. I would definitely purchase them again.
Vendor service was excellent. Although, one of the blades arrived with a broken adapter, etrailer didn't hesitate to correct the issue. As for the product, it was easy to install and function, but the adaptors may have some fragile tendencies as stated. The wipers have not been tested in the extremes of heat or cold, so I can't comment on that aspect. However, they had received excellent reviews, so I'm trusting those sources until then.
I bought these for a 2003 Freightliner Columbia. They seem to work best on the passenger's side. So I've got a hybrid setup where I use a flat blade on the driver's side, and a curved one for the passenger's due to the curvature of the windshield, and how the blades sweep across it.
I receive my replacement wiper blades and they work great! Better quality than the factory ones I had. They cost me HALF of the price of anywhere else I checked. Delivery was on time and i didn't have to wait days or weeks for them to charge my account.I would definitely purchase from them again. THANKS!!!
I replaced my worn out winter blades with these wiper blades and they really work good. They confirm to the curve on the windshield of my 2016 F150 so they clear the rain off without missing any spots.

I reached out to Clear Plus and they had not had this issue previously reported before. I recommend making sure that you are using the correct adapter like at mark 1:41 at the video review video below.
