Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 5,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 4,565 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 4,033 lumens.

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at these ARC Extreme Series Cool Light H4 LED Headlight Bulbs with the anti-flicker harnesses. And it's for a quantity of two. Now these H4 LED bulbs let you upgrade from your factory halogen dual beam headlight bulbs. These are great for off-road and rural road conditions. And they're ideal for the projector style headlights.
Now they are not recommended for fog lights. The Extreme Series of this light features nice automotive grade LEDs and an advanced cooling technology for maximum performance. These bulbs are brighter than a 35 watt HID system and about five times brighter than a stock halogen bulb. The cooling technology we mentioned, it's a vac pipe cooling technology here, reduces the heat three times more efficiently than conventional heat sink design. You can see it uses a turbo cool dual bearing fan, which will remove excess heat with minimal noise.Now when you do install these, this bulb collar here needs to be removed.
And the way you do that is you just push and then rotate it off. And that collar will insert into your headlight socket for installation of this bulb. Once you have your collar in there and you just insert your ball into the collar. And the same way you just line it up, twist it clockwise, and it'll lock the bulb into place. Simple as that.
They do use precision optics, which are designed for long range visibility and zero glare. It gives off a nice, cool white color, promotes driver awareness, and it is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.Now at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12 volt power to show you the low beam and the high beam of the bulb. These are a plug and play application using the vehicle's existing connections. There is no cutting, splicing or tapping required. And as I mentioned, these do include these anti-flicker harnesses.
You can see they plug into the bulb. They will ensure proper operation for any cam, bus or PWM equipped vehicles. These bulbs do use IP65 insulation, provides protection from shock, water and dust. And again, it's for a quantity of two bulbs, comes with this nice owner's manual that they'll describe how to install it, how it operates.Light output per bulb, the raw lumens is 5,000 lumens. Effective lumens is 4,565 lumens. And the stable lumens, which is meaning after 30 minutes of use, is about 4,033 lumens. Color temperature is 6,500 Calvin. Wattage is 45 watts per bulb. Power draw at 13 volts DC is three amps per bulb and the operating voltage, nine volts to 16 volts.So what we're going to do is take our 12 volt power, take our plug here, and you can see there's three tabs on it. So there's a high beam and a low beam. What I'm going to do is hook the power to one of them. And then when we touch one tab, it should give us the low beam. Here's your low beam. And then when you touch the other one, it's going to give you your high beam. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and we'll do it again. Here's the low beam and there's the higher beam. Low beam and the high beam. Plug-and-play installation.So I bought these a year and a half ago. These are the sh*t! Nice and bright with a good beam pattern. Just make sure you have a idea to cable manage with both harness with this package. It was plug n play on my 2004 Tacoma Xrta cab. Bite the bullet on the price and get them. Also so people don’t flash you every 2 seconds angle your lights a little lower. Don’t be a weenier with stupid bright lights blinding old lady’s.
Great lights. I have tried the cheap ones with no luck. These are the best by far.

Good product, quality appears to be good. I’ve had the bulbs installed for three days now and I am pleased. I would buy these again. The only reason I did not rated this five star is I was hoping for something a little brighter.
The system works great and improves my night driving visibility for my jeep. Good instructions on the install and a fairly easy process as well.
