Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at these 3157 LED bulbs, with the wedge base. 360 degree beam angle, and a nice cool white color. It's for a quantity of two bulbs. Now these are LED tower bulbs.

They'll upgrade or replace 3157 light bulbs to provide a nice cool white lighting. They are great for side hanging or overhead applications, and they also work great in automotive applications. It is a multi-directional design, so it does emit light 360 degrees around the bulb. It is a 12 volt bulb, so it has many applications in your RV, trailer, boat, or your vehicle, and it uses LEDs, which make great replacements for incandescent bulbs. They're rated for up to 50,000 hours, they're 75% more efficient, because they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.This is compatible with dimmable fixtures for a nice simple adjustment of light brightness.

It does offer built in surge protection which will safeguard your internal electronics, and it is a wedge base that'll mount into a compatible fixture. It is a non-polarized design for easy installation, no wiring changes. Basically what that means is when you go to plug this in, you can push it in to mount this way, or turn it around, push it in this way. Either way you put it in, it will light up. This for a quantity of two bulbs.

The light output is 220 lumens. The bulb type we mentioned is 3157, the base type it fits in is a T25 wedge base. The light type is cool white. The color temperature is 5,500 Kelvin. It does use 24 LEDs per bulb.

The wattage is two watts, and it is designed to replace up to a 20 watt halogen bulb. The power draw at 12 volts is 0.17 amps. And what I'm going to do now is hook it up to some 12 volt power, just to show you how bright they are, and the color of the light.Go ahead and hook it up. And as I mentioned, you can hook it up either way, because it is non-polarized, so power, ground just doesn't matter, either one. Once we get that hooked up, go ahead and turn on our power. Then once we have our power on, you can see how bright the bulb is. We'll go ahead and turn off our overhead lights. And there it is. That's all 24 LEDs in one bulb. You can see 360 degrees. Nice, cool white color. I'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, go ahead and turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on the 3157 LED bulbs with the wedge base, and the 360 degree beam angle in the cool white color.
