Speaker 1: Today on this 2014 Dodge Dart, we're gonna review and install the Draw-Tight Support Frame Trailer Hitch, part number 24890. Now to help us on our install today, we're not gonna use the lift. We're actually gonna use a couple ramps. We'll be using the FloTool Rhino Ramps, part number FT11909MI. Now to also help you with your install, you can also use some jack stands to help hold the hitch in place. Part number PTW41021 will help out in this application. more

DIY Install: Yakima RidgeLine Roof Rack for Flush Rails on your 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we'll be taking a look at the Yakima Roof Rack Kit. This consists of the Yakima JetStream Crossbars, part number Y00425, the BaseLine Towers, part number Y00146, and two sets of base clip fit kits, first one is part number Y06118 for the front, and part number Y06123 for the back. The Yakima Rook Rack Kit will allow you to carry many different vehicle accessories on your vehicle's roof rack system, whether that's bike racks, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, or ski and snowboard carriers. The JetStream Crossbars are an aerodynamic design which will reduce wind noise and drag and allow you to carry vehicle accessories, whether they're clamp-on or channel mounted accessories. The whole kit has a quick and easy installation, we'll show you how to do that next. Now everything that you see here on our table is included with our kit, the only thing you'll need to provide yourself is a flat tape measure of some sort. How to Set Up Your Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe class 1 trailer hitch receiver, part number 24890. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's tucked up nice and tight to the underside of the fascia here so it's going to maintain a pretty clean look when on the vehicle so it's not going to take away and make it really stand out. Features the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It's got the rolled steel safety chain connection points underneath here. It's got a 1/2" hitch pinhole, which is going to be good for securing all of your class 1 accessories. This features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the the downward force here on the inside of the receiver tube opening. more

Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Bike Rack, part number RBC035. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature of this is that there's absolutely no frame contact whatsoever to attach the bike to the bike rack. Instead, we have this fork mount here at the front, and this lockable skewer to hold it in place. Now, when you lock it down, your bike rack will be secure to the bike rack. more

Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Road Warrior Rooftop Bike Rack, part number RBC036. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some of the features. Now how this has actually gripped to the bike rack, you're going to notice, there's absolutely no frame contact at all, so your bike frame itself won't get scratched up. Instead, it actually grips it by the fork mounts, here, by this lockable skewer, so your bike is actually secured to the rack once it's installed. We also have a wheel strap, here at the rear, to keep that secure in place, and with everything attached right now, I'm going to go ahead and show you that there's absolutely no interference whatsoever between the bike rack itself or the trunk. Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Archway XT 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. This is a trunk mount bike rack that holds up to two bikes. We already have one bike installed, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I'd like to show off is the fact that it has an integrated cable lock here at the end. You wrap it around your bikes, and come up to the front portion here, and then lock it into place with the included lock core. The cradles are movable along the arms and have this nice shock resistant padding here, so your bikes won't get scratched up once they're being installed. It grips your bike at three points. more

To their 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the CURT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is C18115. This is 41-1/2" long by 37" wide by 4" deep, and has a 150 pound weight capacity. Even though it does have that weight capacity you do with check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. Today on this 2015 Dodge Dart we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack 2 bike rack. Part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is installed, we're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 zip strips up on the top here, and then 1 off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack where the bike's in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that, there is tabs on either side of the zip strips. You just push those in at the same time and lift them out. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike actually attaches to the rack, you're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 zip strips up at the top here and then 1 off to the side here. Which, is going to act as and anti sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike's in front of it. Also, at the front we have this integrated cable lock, which you'll wrap around the bike in the front and attach it to this point here for some additional security. more

Installation: WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2015 Dodge Dart- Video
Speaker: Today, on our 2015 Dodge Dart, we're taking a look at and showing you how to install Weathertec front floor mats in black, part#WT444691. These are also available grey, part #WT464691. Here we already have our driver's side installed, as you can see it's going to contour perfectly to our vehicle's shape. We also have the channels down here, which are going to prevent any dirt, debris, and liquid from getting onto your vehicle's carpet, as well as onto your shoes. Our mat's going to go up under our brake and our gas pedal here, and we even have a spot for our left foot as well. The mat is even designed to fit over our two mounting points here on our floor. The mats themselves are quick and easy to clean, simply remove, clean with soap and water, rinse with water, and either hang dry or towel dry. Now that we've gone over some features, we'll show you how to get this installed. more

Today, on our 2015 Dodge Dart, we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Trunk-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is HRF6-2. Now, we already have our bike loaded up. We're first going to show you how we secure that down. Then, we'll go over some features of the rack. We have two cradles in place with three straps. Two on our frame and then one as our anti-sway strap here in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release our strap. Once we have those straps removed, we can remove our bike and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps, so you don't lose or damage any of them. Once again, they may be a little difficult to replace since the bike rack is new. As you work with it a little more, it will get easier. Now, let's take a few measurements. Our first one is going to be our overall distance added to the back of our vehicle with our arms hanging out. more

With our bike out of the way, I would suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage any of them. With our straps back in place we'll take a few measurements here. Our first one's going to be our overall length added to the vehicle with our arms hanging out, which is going to be about 25 and a half inches. more

Today on our 2015 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XC 2 Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is S64650. Now we already have our bike loaded up. We'll first show you how we secure that down, and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. Here we have a frame hook which is going to secure our bike down into those cradles. We don't have any straps like you would usually see for those wheels, although I can say with certainty that your bike is going to be completely secure with our frame hook here. To release our bike we're going to lift up on our frame hooks, we'll pinch this piece in here, and just lift straight up. more

Now, this is designed with a weight capacity of 300 pounds and also designed to work with 1 1/4 inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. 2013 Dodge Dart Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier: Complete Installation- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Yakima FrontLoader Roof Mounted Wheel Mount Bike Carrier, part number y02103. Now with the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racking System already assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the FrontLoader onto the vehicle's crossbars. Well slide the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar and tighten it down with the T-handle securing the front of the carrier to the front crossbar.We'll then bring the rear bracket around the rear crossbar, insert the T-bolt into the bracket and turn the black wing nut to tighten it down to secure the rear bracket to the rear crossbar. Now with the carrier secured to the vehicle we're ready to load up our bike. We'll unfold the first part of the wheel hook and undo the tray straps.We'll place the bike onto the carrier rolling it forward bringing the back part of the wheel hook onto the rear tire. We'll then tighten down the red knob pinching the wheel hooks together securing the front tire and then we'll move to the rear of the carrier securing the back tire with the tray strap.That completes today's test fit for the Yakima FrontLoader Roof Mounted Wheel Mount Bike Carrier, part number y02103 on our 2013 Dodge Dart. more

How to Install the Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier on a 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. Now with our Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System already assembled on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's crossbars. In no specific order we'll loosen up the brackets on the front and rear of the carrier to bring around the front and rear crossbar.We'll loosen up the black wing nuts to position the T-bolts into the brackets and tighten them down. Note that depending on the thickness of your vehicle's crossbars you may need to position the brackets accordingly. Once we have the carrier tightened down we can remove the skewer to slide the black plastic cap up behind the black T-handle at the front of the carrier and slide the skewer back through it.Now with the carrier secured to our vehicle we're ready to load our bike. We'll loosen up the skewer and undo the tray strap at the rear. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4-Bike Carrier, Part Number TH9029. To install the bike carrier, we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, then we'll lineup our pinholes and thread our anti-rattle, tightening it with a wrench. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have a ground clearance 9 inches and the closest point of our carrier to the closest point of our vehicle is about one inch. With bike carrier in the folded position, we've added about 9 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. Now, we can pull the lever at the bottom of the bike carrier to tilt down our bike carrier. As you can see, we can easily gain access to the cargo area of our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and put the bike carrier back in its upright position, pull the lever at the top of the mast to swing out our cradle arms. more

Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Doubletrack Platform-Style Bike Carrier, part number th990xt. To mount the carrier to our vehicle we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and then thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. Now we can go over a few clearance measurements.We have about 8-1/2 inches of ground clearance. From the closest part of the bike carrier to the hitch switch is about 2-1/2 inches. With the bike rack in its folded position we've added about nine inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Fit Test: Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket with 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Yakima Load Warrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number y07070. Now our vehicle is equipped with a Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System. So to begin our test fit, we'll simply place the roof rack cargo basket onto the vehicles crossbars. Now once the cargo basket is onto the vehicles crossbars we can loosen up the wing nuts to bring the t-bolts around the underside of the black bracket. We'll insert the t-bolt into the black bracket and turn the black wing nut to tighten it down. We'll then repeat these steps for all three of the other brackets. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Square Bar Roof Rack System, part numbers thkit1667, th480, and thlb58. Now with our feet, fit kit and load bars already assembled according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll need to measure from the front part of the glass to the first part of the foot on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle to ensure that the load bar is perpendicular to the vehicle and the fit kit contours to the roof line correctly. After establishing this position, we'll use the included tensioning tools to tighten down the feet to secure the load bar to the vehicle. Note that you may want to tighten down each foot a little at a time so that one side of the load bar doesn't favor one side of the vehicle. We'll now place the load bar onto the rear of the vehicle and we'll need to measure the crossbar spread. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racking System, part numbers y00409, y00124, y00606 and y00702. Now with our Q-clips, towers and crossbars already assembled according to the instructions we'll begin the test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll then measure from the front part of the glass to the first part of the tower as indicated in the instructions.We'll measure seven inches on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle making sure that the crossbar is perpendicular to the vehicle and the pads on the underside of the Q-towers contour correctly to the vehicle. Once we've established this position on the crossbar we'll then tighten down the silver bolts on the inside of the tower and latch down the black plastic covers.Now you may want to alternate sides when tightening down the silver bolts as when closing the black plastic covers the crossbar will tend to favor to one side. Now with the front crossbar secured to the vehicle we're ready to load our rear crossbar. We'll place our rear crossbar onto the rear of the vehicle and measure the crossbar spread. more

Whispbar Roof Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Roof Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a Six Ski or Four Board Capacity, part wb-300. Now our vehicle is equipped with the Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System. To begin our test fit we'll simply place the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar.We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and hook them back into the top bracket of the carrier. Now with the jaws open exposing the black levers we can tighten them down and clamp them into position preventing the steel strap from coming undone.Now with the front part of the carrier secured to the vehicle we're ready to load the second part of the carrier. We'll place it onto the rear crossbar, bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and with the jaws open exposing the black levers we'll tighten down and clamp them into position. Now with both parts of the carrier secured to the vehicle we're ready to load our gear.We'll push in the oversized buttons at the end of the carrier to open up the jaws. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Raceway Trunk Mounted Platform-Style Two Bike Carrier, part number th9003. Now before beginning our test fit we'll first need to refer to the included instructions to see what number our fit dial should be at. After placing our fit dial on number seven we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk.We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then turn the green knobs on the left and right hand side of the carrier to tighten down the straps and secure the carrier to the trunk. Now with our Thule Raceway secured to our Dodge Dart we're ready to load up our bike.We'll raise the frame hooks and lower the platform. We'll undo the gray lever to slide out the wheel trays and we'll undo the tray straps. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Passage trunk mounted two bike carrier, part number TH910XT. Now before beginning our test fit we'll first need to refer to the included instructions to determine what number our fit dial should be at. After setting our fit dial to number 7, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles trunk. We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk just above the tail lights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. After securing the excess strap we're ready to load our bike. We'll undo the cradle straps, place the bike into the frame cradles, and secure it with the straps and that completes today's test fit for the Thule Passage trunk mounted two bike carrier, part number TH910XT, on our 2013 Dodge Dart. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Thule SUP taxi stand-up paddleboard carrier with a two-board capacity, part number TH810. Now, with the Thule Airwave roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front load bar. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the cross bar and hook them back into the top bracket.We'll then turn the gray knob to tighten on the straps and secure the carrier to the front low bar. We'll then repeat the steps for the other side of the vehicle. We'll now place the rear part of the carrier unto the rear load bar and again bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the other side of the crossbar and put them back into the top bracket. We'll then turn the gray knobs to secure the carrier to the vehicle.Once again we'll repeat these steps for the other side of the vehicle. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Thule MOAB, also known as the "mother of all baskets," rooftop cargo carrier, part number TH690XT. Now, our vehicle is already equipped with the Thule Aeroblade roof racking system.To begin our test-fit we'll simply place the cargo basket onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll position the carrier onto the load bars and bring the brackets around the underside of the load bars and then loosen up the wing nuts to bring the bolt through the top bracket and reinstall and tighten down the wing nut.We'll then repeat these steps for all three of the other brackets. Once all the brackets are tightened down, the Thule MOAB is secured to our Dodge Dart. That complete today's test-fit of the Thule MOAB roof top cargo carrier, part number TH690XT, on our 2013 Dodge Dart. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart well be test fitting the Thule Domestique roof-mounted, fork mount bike carrier, part number TH513. Now, with our vehicle already equipped with the Thule AeroBlade roof racking system well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles loadbars. We will then loosen up the Allen bolts at the head of the carrier. Quick tech tip that in order to access the two front Allen bolts you will first need to remove the skewer. Well then bring the front bracket around the front loadbar as well as loosening up the Allen bolt at the rear of the carrier to bring the rear bracket around the rear loadbar. Well then use the Allen key to tighten the Allen bolts to secure the front of the carrier to the vehicles loadbar. more

2013 Dodge Dart Swagman Titan Bike Rack for 4 Bikes: Complete Installation- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Swagman Titan four-bike carrier, part number S63410. To begin our test-fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of our hitch, line up our pinholes. Then we can thread our anti-rattle bolt through the threaded pinholes and tighten it with the wrench.Now, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 9 1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about 1 inch. With the bike rack into folded position we've added 19 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more
