Hey guys, Kevin here, etrailer. Today I'll be showing you how to install the Smart Plug Power Inlet and Cord here on our Starcraft Homestead 5th Wheel Trailer. So our neighbor today wanted to upgrade from his old pull-out RV power cord up to something a little bit better. There are a few options when it comes to that, typically what you're gonna see on most campers is that twist-lock, so the issue with the twist-lock is the prongs really just aren't big enough and they don't provide as much of a secure connection onto your power cord. So you end up having a lot of heat generating on that and what can happen, is that it can burn out that inlet and then 'cause a fire inside of your camper. One of the really nice things about our Smart Plug cord is that it has this LED indicator light here, as you can see it's blue, that indicates that power is flowing correctly, from our shore power source. more

Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box Installation - 2007 Starcraft Homestead Lite Fifth Wheel- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, here on our 2007 StarCraft Homestead. So, a standard pin box on your trailer, isn't gonna have the pivoting head, it's not gonna have a built-in strut and it's not gonna have an airbag. Now, you're probably thinking, why do we need all this So I wouldn't say it's a requirement, but your standard pin boxes, they're basically gonna be transferring all the road shocks, when we hit a pothole, we're going over some bumps in the road, everything is gonna be transferred directly to the vehicle and you're gonna be feeling all those bumps in the road. It's actually gonna rely on the vehicle suspension and partly the trailer suspension. But when you add a cushioning mechanism between the truck and the trailer here, this thing is gonna absorb all that road shock there, so we're not gonna be transferring it to our vehicle. So overall, it's gonna be making our ride that much more pleasurable, and it's also gonna help maintain our 5th wheel trailer here, because it's not gonna be rattling around as much. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Seaflo battery disconnect switch here on our 2007 Starcraft Homestead. So the Seaflo battery switch disconnect is going to make it a whole lot easier for you to disconnect your battery. Anytime that you're needing to put your trailer in storage and you don't feel like pulling out your socket and your socket wrench and taking off the battery cables. And then also when you're needing to do any maintenance and that you'll have to turn off any of your electric. You can easily just come over here and flip the switch and then get working on whatever you need to fix. more

And this is going to be for your camper slide-out, making sure that you keep your wires protected and not kinking when opening and closing. Now this is available in three different options you have a single hole, a double hole as you see here, and also a triple. In that way you can make it fit to your configuration. more

Go Power Lithium RV Battery Installation- Video
Hi there Starcraft owners. Today in your 2007 Starcraft Homestead, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Go Power's 4D lithium battery. Now while this battery is extremely heavy, because of its large size, a comparable lead acid battery of this size would easily weigh twice, more likely even three times what this one weighs. So even though this is a heavy battery, it is actually considerably light, compared to its competitors. One of the best things about it, though, that it is lithium. That's gonna give us a lot of different benefits. more

Clayton: Hello everyone. Clayton here at etrailer.com and today I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead we're going to be taking a look at, and I'll show you how to install the MORryde sliding cargo tray. Our sliding cargo tray is going to be awesome. It's going to allow us to access any items we might have in the middle of our storage area. All we have to do is pull up on this lever and then we can simply pull out our tray. And it pulls 60% of the full length out and it can hold up to 800 pounds. more

So there's a couple of different reasons why we'll have some leaky valves.Maybe sometimes we just have the seals going bad on the inside. But other times, it's just going to be completely gunked up. Well, regardless of what caused it, we need to replace it. Hi there fifth Wheel owners. Today in your 2007 StarCraft Homestead we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the RV tankless water heater. In most cases, this unit's going to be a direct replacement for an existing tanked water heater that you have, except this one's going to be tankless. It fits in your same slot. You have the same exhaust outlet and overall it looks fairly similar except for there's no tank inside. And the benefit of not having a tank is that this heater is designed to heat the water as it flows through it, which means unlike a tank heater, after you've used up the hot water in the tank, the temperature starts to diminish. more

This is going to be a great upgrade to maybe an old worn out one or maybe you upgraded your actual faucet itself to the Patrick Distribution faucet and you want something that matches. I think this is going to be a really nice upgrade.It's going to be a satin nickel finish, so it's going to match exactly with the faucet itself. It's going to have an auto shutoff, or it's going to have a shut off valve, I should say. more

Shane: Hey guys, Shane here with eTrailer.com. Today I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead fifth wheel trailer and I want to walk you through how to install the Global Link Baggage Door Lock Set. You may also know them as slam locks.The nice thing about these is when you compare them to your standard locks, that come on some of your older campers and RVs, these tend to get wore out. They can be replaced, but sometimes they don't always hold in place. These will break off and it kind of can be a pain in the butt. So adding a setup like this to your doors is going to make it a lot easier. more

Hey guys, Shay here, with each etrailer.com, and today I have a 2007 StarCraft Homestead Fifth Wheel. And I want to walk through how to install the Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail. Adding a handrail like this to your camper, or RV, is going to make it a lot easier, if you have mobility issues, with walking up and down the stairs. With the smaller handles it may fold out about this far, makes it a little bit hard to get up the first two steps to be able to grab that handle. With this one, you can see, it comes down very far, standing on the ground it gives us plenty of room to grab onto you. You can see, very large size. more

Hey guys. Shane here at etrialer.com. Today I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead Fifth Wheel Trailer and I want to walk through how to install Lippert Components Solid Steps. Solid Steps are going to be a great upgrade from your factory steps that usually come on the trailer. The difference between them is your typical steps are just going to fold down and they're not going to touch the ground, so when you step on them, they have, a lot of give a lot of movement, not very stable. Also, they're open to the elements so you can see all the dirt and everything on them. more

Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail Installation - 2007 Starcraft Homestead Lite Fifth Wheel- Video

Today I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead Fifth Wheel Trailer and I want to walk through how to install the Stromberg Carlson 45-inch Folding Handrail.This handrail is going to be a one-inch diameter stainless steel bar. It's going to be 45 inches from the top to bottom with a 45-degree angle slope. The handrail is going to be mainly designed for your fleet RVs for individuals that may have mobility issues, maybe walking up the ramp, getting into the RV, or going up the steps. However, it doesn't necessarily have to be put on a fleet RV. You can see here we have it installed in a camper. more
