A Closer Look at the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Naked Roofs- Video
Today, we're taking a look at the Thule Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars. Now, this comes in a four-pack so you get four heavy-duty feet that mount Thule crossbars to your vehicle with a naked roof so you want to pair these with Thule crossbars and a fit kit to create a complete roof rack system for your vehicle. It's an easy tool-free assembly with the click-in mounting brackets so basically what you need to get these attached to your bar is all you have to do is slide this piece right here into the channel on the bottom of your Thule crossbar.Now once you have these installed onto the crossbars, and once you have your fit kit installed, your fit kit consists of a custom mounting pad to fit the roof line of your vehicle and a clamp that secures it to your vehicle. Once you have these installed onto the crossbars and your fit kit installed onto the feet, you can use the include torque tool to secure the roof rack to your vehicle, so you'll need to remove the cap here or the cover and then through this hole right here there's a little bolt. Place this in there, and you can tighten that. As you tighten that bolt, this does two things. more

Hey folks, it's Brad at etrailer, and today, we are putting a WingBar Evo System Roof Rack on our 2018 Ford Fiesta. The Ford Fiesta is a subcompact car, this one in particular is the ST model, which is a great little fun performance car, but downsides would be storage, it does have a hatchback, but it's relatively small. This is my personal car, and I have two car seats in the back. So having added storage, or the ability to take my bike, cargo carrier, or any other things I need on a trip, really comes in handy with a roof rack system. Hey guys. Today we have a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500. We're going to do a test fit of the Thule square bar crossbar roof rack system. Now this roof rack system is going to allow you to get any accessories like a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a roof basket up on your roof so you can get those accessories on your roof rather than taking up space inside the bed of your truck or even in the cab.Now this roof rack system is made up of a couple of different components. Up top we're going to have our 60 inch square bar crossbars. Now what's different about these crossbars from their old square bars is that rather than having a foot pack that wraps around the top of our square bar to secure it to our roof, we actually do have a channel, just like their aero bars, where we can just slide or Evo clamp feet through there, so it's also going to work, these clamp feet are going to work with our wing bars as well.The square bars are going to be a little bit more noisy up on our roof, as with anything that's going to be mounted to your roof, but sometimes just having that more rugged look, it's going to be a nicer to look for your truck.Now below, kind of the middleman is going to be our Evo clamp feet. more

Today we have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and we're gonna do a test fit of the Thule Square Bar Crossbar Roof Rack System. As a roof rack mounts to the roof of your vehicle and allows you to get your favorite accessories on top of your roof, whether you wanna carry a bike rack, a kayak or even a smaller cargo box.It's made up of a couple of different components. First up top we have our 53 inch square bar crossbars. Now Thule has redesigned these so they do look pretty nice and what, in my opinion, is the coolest feature is that rather than having a foot pack that's special for the square bar, they actually have an included track in the bottom and now these Evo feet are gonna be able to fit your square bars and your wing bars.Now leading into our Evo feet for naked roofs, this is basically gonna be the middle man between the crossbar and the fit kit. The foot is going to install into that track and it's going to be tightened down right here using that bolt on the inside, leading down here to our thicket, we have a rubber coated hook that goes under our door frame. We're gonna have this nice thick rubber pad that's actually designed to fit the contours of our Elantra. more

One of those big reasons is if you have a family and you wanna take a trip, since we do have three rows of seating, you're probably not gonna have a lot of storage in the back of your vehicle. So your roof's gonna be a great option for that. And if you don't own a hitch or your hitch was already being occupied by something else, that's gonna be another reason to store things on top of your roof. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Thule WingBar Evo crossbar system here on a 2021 Mazda MX-5 with bare roof. Now I personally think it looks really well with this vehicle here, and particularly the black crossbars due to the darker paint scheme we do have on the vehicle. But if you have a lighter paint scheme, or you just prefer the lighter crossbar option, this system is available with silver crossbars as well. This system here, the wing bars, these are an arrow shaped crossbar. So there's a few different arrow shaped crossbar options on the market, but what I think Thule does really well is that they kind of go one step further. The shape or the contour of our crossbars here mimics an airplane wing. more

It's going to allow you to haul a ton of different roof rack accessories above your vehicle, whether if it's got bike racks, kayak carriers, or even a cargo box, really anything that can fit, you're going to be able to haul it on this roof rack.This roof rack has three different components to it. Our first one is going to be our 53-inch square bars. These square bars kind of give you the traditional roof rack look, it's kind of how roof racks first started. One thing I want to point out is that with a square bar system, you are going to have a bit more wind noise and drag when you compare it to the wing bar setup that Thule has, but one thing you can do to improve your fuel economy and cut down on that wind noise, is you're going to install a faring on the front crossbar, and that's basically going to deflect the wind and just make it run right over the top of your roof rack system.The middle man right here that's connecting our crossbars to our roof is going to be the Evo clamp feet system. more
