Installation Notes:
The RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights.
The stop light switch kit listed is a requirement for proper usage of this braking system.
Once vehicle is set in Tow Mode, it is critical that you wait at least 10 minutes for the vehicle to enter Sleep Mode. If the vehicle is not in Sleep Mode it will overbrake, causing severe, non-warranty damage.
Tech Tip:
Installation also requires bracket RM-8700-PBC (sold separately) due to the thickness of the firewall on this vehicle.
