This portable unit gets you smooth braking without a complex installation. Senses the RV braking and applies the brakes proportionally. Easy to swap between multiple towed cars: settings adjust for safe, even braking for any size car.
Installation Notes:
The RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights.
Once vehicle is set in Tow Mode, it is critical that you wait at least 10 minutes for the vehicle to enter Sleep Mode. If the vehicle is not in Sleep Mode it will overbrake, causing severe, non-warranty damage.
