Note: When servicing your truck with Air Lift air springs installed, if the truck is lifted by the frame, the air must be let out of the springs. And if the rear of the truck is lifted during service, then it must be supported by jack stands to avoid damage to the air springs.
Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 was designed with an exact purpose: to provide full-time, first-class support to your 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton pickup. With this kit, you get a safer ride and simultaneously protect your vehicle from the strain that comes with hauling massive loads.
Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all 4 wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.
LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.
Along with a lifetime warranty that has no mileage restrictions, Air Lift offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Just install and use LoadLifter 5000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund. Now that's confidence.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at these Airlift LoadLifter 5,000 Air Helper Springs for your rear axle. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2017 to 2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty with four-wheel drive. And I wanted to point out that these are designed for trucks that have been lifted with spring block spacer-style lifts. And this kit is not compatible with lift kits that will replace the leaf springs or alter the frame to leaf spring distance, just so you're aware of that.
But with this kit, you are going to get a safer ride while at the same time protecting your truck from the strain that comes with hauling heavy loads. Now, as you no doubt know, carrying a heavy cargo in your truck bed or your trailer can put tremendous stress on your truck, and your brakes can erode faster, your tires can wear unevenly, and the handling can suffer severely as well. Wind towing, you might experience excessive sway, bottoming out, or even improper or unsafe headlight aim. So by pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5,000, you can seriously beef up your suspension and ensure equal load distribution and give your truck the support that it desperately needs. These air helper springs are going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and distribute the weight of your payload to all four wheels.
As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is going to be significantly reduced. Now, these airbags are made here in the USA of high quality two-ply fabric-reinforced rubber. Now, most airbags will lose air at the ends where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, possibly creating small holes. But the end caps on these airlift airbags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon. That's a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the bags won't lose air.
Also, these springs come with air lift exclusive roll plates that you see here, which will both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs. By the way, I have this just kind of loosely put together just to kind of give you an idea of what the installed product is going to look like. I don't have the hardware installed or anything like that, but I just have it set up to where you can get a good idea of how the brackets are gonna go and the plates are gonna go, and everything like that. Just to kind of give you a helpful visual. Now, these are gonna be adjustable from five to 100 PSI for precise support.
They can be inflated independently of one another for front to rear or side-to-side leveling. But you are going to receive everything that you see on my table here. It's going to include the mounting brackets as you can see here that are custom fit for your truck and all of the hardware that you're going to need to install it. All the U-bolts that you see here. You're going to get manual inflation valves, and the airline's included, and the manual valves are gonna typically be mounted on the bumper for easy access. This does include a booklet, a set of detailed instructions to guide you through the installation process and the operation. Now, you also can get compressor systems within cab gauges that can be added to monitor and automatically adjust the air pressure. Those items we do sell separately from this kit, but you can find them under the Related Products tab on this product page. Now again, the load leveling capacity is up to 5,000 pounds, but it is important to note that these air helper springs do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure that you're not exceeding the manufacturer's recommended weight limit for your truck. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
