It’s been a year since I’ve had this hitch installed on my 2018 Nissan Murano. The install should’ve been pretty simple. I tried to do it myself, but found some of the bolts that needed to be removed in order to install the hitch were pretty much frozen in place. I brought the hitch to my local mechanic, who was able to free up the frozen bolts and then install the hitch. My mechanic reports there were no problems with this hitch fitting correctly. He also reports it was a very easy install.
I’ve used it regularly several times last season and now just again this season. I use it to tow a small utility trailer that I use to haul my three wheeled tandem tricycle, back-and-forth from the campground.
The hitch i ordered was delivered on time and tracking was on spot. Installation was quick and all hardware was included and packaged professionally. I ordered a hitch from here for last vehicle and was not disappointed. The cost was extremely fair and instructions are clear to understand. This is why I'm and will be a return customer. Customer service has gone down hill with many other companies. This company goes above for customer service. That alone means alot.

Five bolts and 12 minutes later, the unit was installed on my 2020 Nissan Murano, WITHOUT any special tools, additional labor, or modifications.

Thankfully previous reviews and information on the etrailer site were available for assistance. I needed to utilize a suggestion to expand the hitch receiver utilizing a 2x4 and car jack in order to align one of the holes. What started as a struggle became rather simple with the information found. The receiver was a perfect fit and has been a great accessory to our 2017 Nissan Murano.
Installed the receiver and harness connector today by myself and it was so easy. Took 1 hour to do both. No problems getting the receiver in place. I didn’t have to jack up the vehicle, there was enough room to just lay on a blanket and get to work. The harness for trailer lights is just like the videos on this site, plug and play. The only minor issue was when replacing the fuse in the engine bay from an installed 30 amp to a 15 amp that was supplied the 30 amp fuse was different from the included one that came with the harness. The fuse from entrailer was longer where it plugs in. Thanks eTrailer, love your products and instructions.
Fantastic hitch- very solid/ well made and works exactly as it should. I installed it myself, and I am not someone who works on cars- it was advertised to fit our 2018 Nissan Murano and everything lined up perfectly. I borrowed a tourque wrench from my neighbor to finish tightening the bolts to specifications. Glad I did it myself- this one looks a lot nicer than the ones I've seen that are installed by Uhaul.

Preferred this hitch over the other two for our Nissan Murano because the slant of the ends of the horizontal piece makes the hitch less visible. Purchased it for use with a hitch mounted 4-bike bicycle rack, so no electrical wiring was needed. Very easy to install.
The hitch reviewed on line and then purchased worked out great. It was made for my Nissan Murano, and installed all by myself in 30 minutes.
The bike rack I also purchased fit the hitch with all the vehicle clearances I needed.

Very pleased with this hitch. Watched your videos on selection and installation and found those to be very helpful. Installation for me on my 2016 Murano Platinum was a breeze. I used a furniture dolly and blocks of wood to roll it under the car and hold it in place while I bolted her in. Looks real nice. Will use this primarily for recreation not towing.

What a great product. Online videos were a great educational tool. I am 72 and my wife is 70. With the use of car ramps, we installed the hitch in about 30 minutes. Extremely pleased at how it looks. Thank you for a wonderful product.
Easy install, I used a floor jack to raise the hitch into position. Install 5 cap screws, torqued, total time to install 30 min.

Took me about 30 minutes to install. The Nissan dealer wanted $400 for similar hitch, and another $100 to install it. I paid $xx.xx at etrailer.com. Works like a charm.

Purchased the Curt Trailer Hitch for a 2009 Nissan Murano Installed myself, and then again for my new 2018 Nissan Murano . This time my experience was a piece of cake! Worked by myself while wife handed me socket wrench and nuts to install the hitch. Only took about a half hour.
The installation for Curt Wiring Harness also when extremely smoothly compared to my experience with the 2009 Murano.
Was overwhelming enthusiastic with both installations and quality of product.

excellent hitch slides smoothly into frame no sighs of wear or tear
Trailer hitch arrived,early, was packaged perfect.Absalutly shinning ,not a scratch.First time to use etrailer, very happy.Anyway put the hitch on a small jack pushed under car ,with the help of my wife.Bolted on perfect,took,3/4 of an hour.Did l tell you we are both 81years old.Ordering was easy,references was great and shipping.
