Compatibility Of etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier # e98878 With Factory Crossbars On a 2017 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Hi I have a 2017 Mazda cx 5 with factory Installed cross bars. The bars are 3 inches wide. The bars taper in height from a half inch on the front edge to around a quarter inch on the rear edge. Will this carrier work with these bars? Thanks.

Yes, the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier # e98878 will work with the crossbars on your 2017 Mazda CX-5. The carriers are compatible with crossbars up to 3-1/8" wide and 1-1/2" tall. Individual adjustment knobs will allow you to follow the contour of your factory crossbars.
