Locks on Thule Summit Cargo Box are Stuck in the Unlocked Position

Hi, I have a Thule cargo box Summit 631 and the locks are stuck in unlock position horizontal. I cant lock them. Its a push button lock. What can i do to fix this?

It sounds like there is a problem with the lock cores on your Thule Summit cargo box. It also looks like that box had 2 locks on it. I recommend replacing the locks using 2-pack # TH450200. It also comes with the change key you will need to take the old locks out. It is a good thing they are currently unlocked and not stuck in the locked position because the locks cannot be removed unless they are in the unlocked position.
Also you will want to inspect the other components of the lock (the latch on box lid, the housing, and so own) for any damage. It may also be corroded on the inside which would lead the locks to seize up. Replacing the locks would be the solution to that issue.
