Question:
Will I have enough power for a Yakima Rack n Roll and perhaps 2 towing lights on the back of a kayak using my 04 Subaru Forester Turbo? Do I need what is a Modulite? Can you recommend 2 auxiliary 2inch towing lights for nighttime kayak towing.

If your Yakima Rack and Roll trailer was made after October 2010 then that would mean it has LED lights on it. LED lights draw very little power compared to incandescent lights and using them and 2 additional lights are well within the abilities of the trailer wiring harness on your 2004 Subaru Forester Turbo.
Even if the lights were not LED, the lights on older versions of the Rack and Roll trailers would likely not be enough power draw to be a problem, even considering adding 2 more lights.
I recommend adding LED lights as the additional lights. The smallest diameter round LED tail lights that we have are 4 inches. I like the glow and brightness of the Optronics GLOLight, # STL101RB. You would also need bracket # BK45BB and grommet # A45GB with wiring harness # A47PB.
Light kit # RM-2120 is another solid option that is adaptable but the lights are not LEDs.
Another option is to put some conspicuity tape, # 465-4K, on the kayaks as needed so they are visible.
