The Stromberg Carlson 5th wheel tailgate # VGM-99-4000 will fit 2007 Chevy/GMC Silverado and Sierra Classic body styles but not the new body style. For a new body style use # VGM-07-4000.
I have attached a photo that shows the difference between the two body styles.
