Published 02/17/2010 >
Question:
Installation instructions for this part Curt Trailer hitch indicate that minor fascia trimming is required for installation on a 2008 VW Rabbit. Can you tell me just how much trimming is actually required and if a non-professional will be capable of doing it? Thanks

There is no fascia trimming required to install Curt trailer hitch # C11074 on your 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
The Draw-Tite part # 24825 is a Class I hitch like the Curt; it does not require fascia trimming as it sits below the fascia.
