Question:
I need chains that will fit both: 265/70 R17 my winter snow tires AND LT235/85 R16 my summer rock tires Is that possible? I run them on a 2005 Toyota Tundra.

Expert Reply:
For both sets of tires on your 2005 Toyota Tundra you can use Glacier Tire Chains part # PWH2221SC. These low-carbon steel twist-link chains tighten manually with included cams.
We also recommend use of a rubber chain tension adjuster, part # PW99.
I have also included a link to an article that explains the various types of tire chains available and their specific applications that might be helpful in your decision-making process.
You will first want to check your vehicle owner's manual for any restrictions or guidance concerning use of tire chains. Your manual will indicate if any particular clearance dimension for tire chains is required for your vehicle.
